Withdrawal policy & model withdrawal form

The following policy and the ‘Withdraw from contract’ button apply to contracts concluded directly via this website before the switch.

A. Withdrawal policy

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal on the following terms, a consumer being any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal online on our website at visualpageeditor.de/en/cancellation.html. If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt without undue delay on a durable medium (for example by email), stating the content of your withdrawal declaration together with the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires early if we have begun performance of the contract after you have given your express consent to us beginning performance of the contract before the end of the withdrawal period, you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal upon the beginning of performance of the contract, and we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium that reproduces the content of the contract, including the above conditions for the early expiry of the right of withdrawal.

What this means for direct purchases: the licence key was supplied immediately after purchase. During the ordering process your express consent was therefore required – the tick box was mandatory and not pre-ticked. The sentence agreed to:

I expressly consent to performance of the contract beginning immediately. I acknowledge that I thereby lose my right of withdrawal.
